Day 52 – Portland, OR (Day 4)

We enjoyed a nice summer day … again.

About the Day
Today was sunny and pleasant.

Activities
A number of separate wheels spun today.

Tim went to work.

Dick and Anna went to lunch at Burgerville and crafted exotic frozen yogurt desserts at Green Apple. Chemistry teachers would have marveled at Anna’s concoction.

Dick spent time organizing electronic files for IPC, reviewing a draft copy of a photo book celebrating IPC building’s 100th anniversary, and creating a spreadsheet for tracking Elizabeth’s sabbatical expenses in Australia, New Zealand and Oregon … all fun stuff.

Carol and Elizabeth went shopping, to lunch, and to visit The Grotto (The National Sanctuary of our Sorrowful Mother). On the way, they stopped by a neat place called Pip’s Original Doughnuts & Chai where custom mini donuts are made to order. The donuts are/were delicious. It’s fortunate most of us don’t know where to find the place.

We ended the day with a game of Chronology. Tim won.
