Day 59 – Dundee, OR (Day 4)

This was a fun day.

About the Day
Today demonstrated that Oregon weather is much like a non-returnable present … you get what you get. Yesterday was rainy, last night was pretty cool, and today was sunny and breezy with a high of 81°.  What a nice gift.

Activities
Kenny worked on a remodeled house he and his mother are preparing for sale.

Carol, Barbara, Lucy and William went to see a juggler/comedian/magician perform in the Newberg library park. There was laughing, clapping and cheering according to Lucy.

Dick spent some FaceTime working with Ann Hitzhusen on a church centennial photo book project. They made good progress until Dick put the phone up to his ear. Ann never disclosed what she saw.

Dick washed the trailer. This was not its usual spa treatment with chamois drying and wax treatment. He washed as high as he could reach without a ladder and got rid of a lot of Alaska and Yukon road dirt. The Blue Coral High Foam Car Wash cleaned, rinsed and air dried without streaks.

Lucy enjoyed “stylin” with Grandma’s stuff.
Grandma has some cool stuff.
Somehow, I can see better with her glasses.
Oh, ya!

Carol, Lucy and Dick went shopping for a picture frame for Lucy’s waving grizzly cub picture from Alaska.

We had a pizza dinner at the Rotary Centennial Park … where there is a splash pad and a nice playground.
Dinner? Not now!
This is quite a playground.
Hi down there.
You go girl!
William, Barbara and Lucy enjoy the splash pad.

Tomorrow
We’re going to Salem to have lunch with Eric Witchey.
