Day 61 – Dundee, OR (Day 6)

We had a slow start and then the day got really busy.

About the Day
It was sunny, breezy, and in the mid-70s.

Activities
Carol woke to the site of some morning visitors.
Cute, but they like to eat Kenny's fruit.

We had a nice breakfast at Newberg Bakery. Their sticky buns are pretty good.

Kenny went to Home Depot to get materials for building new deck stairs.

Kenny and Dick spent the rest of the day building deck stairs.
Three heads are better than one when you’re getting started.
There’s always farming work to do.
Grass mowing takes concentration.

Barbara, Carol, Lucy and William went hiking on Harvey Trail.
Off we go.
Cool … a stream to play in.
So, let's get into it.

Before dinner we attended the 1st Annual Bagley Root Beer Tasting where seven brands of root beer were carefully analyzed.  Teddy’s Root Beer won, but not by a landslide.

Tomorrow
Continue working on the new deck stairs.
